Halyard Building

This flex-use, LEED Silver industrial building for the Port of Hood River occupies a prominent position across from the city’s new Columbia River Waterfront Park. Flexibility, sustainability, and addressing increased pedestrian activity along the waterfront were key design decisions.

It is currently the home to pFriem Family Brewings.

    The building can accommodate one to four tenants and includes a mezzanine overlooking the river.

  • Sustainable design features in this LEED Silver building include

    • 35 kw PV panels mounted on the rooftop and wall with 85 kw designed capacity

    • 40-foot candle daylighting throughout

    • Operable windows for natural ventilation and night-flushing cooling

    • High performance mechanical systems with no CFCs or HCFCs

    • 10,000 gallon cistern for rainwater harvesting, used for landscape irrigation.

    • Low flow plumbing fixtures
